In Conversation With Shanice Nicole

Next Thursday July 30 2PM our artistic director Quincy Armorer will interview the amazing Shanice Nicole. She is a Black feminist educator, facilitator, writer and (out) spoken word artist. Her debut children’s book Dear Black Girls, published by Metonymy Press is now available for pre-order, and she is also the curator of free community resources such as Jobs & Things, All Black Everything in Montreal, and the BFCN Scholarship Directory. Shanice believes that everyone has the power to make change and the words of Maya Angelou resonate deeply, “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

To see what she has to say tune in Thursday July 30 2PM at Facebook LIVE through the image below.
